Chado has been a passion of mine since 2000. I have been fortunate to have had many good teachers, and made many friends through Tea. Also Tea has taken me to many interesting places.
I have lived in Japan on three different occasions. Summer of 2002 I attended Midorikai for a month in Kyoto. Winter of 2003/2004 I was four months in Sapporo as a language student, though I believe I learned more about Tea than language during my stay. 2004/2005 I was a full-time Midorikai student for a year.
Currently I live together with my wife in Lillestrøm, Norway. We have no children, only cats. I have a four and a half mat room in the basement. Where I’m trying to enjoy Tea every morning.
In my professional life I'm BI Manager for a consulting firm in Oslo. I hold both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in IT.
Besides Tea I enjoy a good TV-show, computer games, diving, skiing, hunting, hiking in the mountain and brewing an occasional beer.
