I have spent the weekend designing my new tea room. I have used Live Interior 3D to map out the room. I have some constraint on the space so that has been one of the main worry. A great feature of the software is that you can make a walkthrough video with almost no extra effort. So this is my tea room, the way a guest would see it as entering the room.
After sending the video to some tea people with more experienc and knowledge then myself I have gotten some good feedback. For once I have gotten the paper wrong both size and placement. Second I cant have a rounded door since both guest and host will use it.
I am a new student for Chado, and I am happy to find your blog! Knowing that the tea community in your country isn’t very active is such a sad thing. I cannot say much about the tea group here, since I am a new student, But I can say that I started on Sept. of last year and now I’m doing Usu-cha temae. Please keep updating your blog! I’m your new reader now! 🙂
Very nice to hear from you. I’ll try to keep posting. I have a goal of doing a teatails image at least once a month, and a few more posts when I got the time and inspiration. The next few weeks will be all about building the new room.
Looking forward to reading about the new tea room! 😀
Today I carried in all the wood for the new room. Next weekend I’m going to get some help to assemble it. I’ll try to take some photos while we are doing it.
