Chado has been a passion of mine since 2000. I have been fortunate to have had many good teachers, and made many friends through Tea. Also Tea has taken me to many interesting places.

I have lived in Japan on three different occasions. Summer of 2002 I attended Midorikai  for a month in Kyoto. Winter of 2003/2004 I was four months in Sapporo as a language student, though I believe I learned more about Tea than language during my stay. 2004/2005 I was a full-time Midorikai student for a year.

Since 2015 I have been the host on a bi-weekly PodCast about Tea and related arts. You can find the PodCast on iTunes and Sticher for free. Each episode is about one hour long discussion about tea related topics.

Currently I live together with my wife in Lillestrøm, Norway. I have a four and a half mat room in the basement. Where I’m trying to enjoy Tea every morning.

In my professional life I’m BI Manager for a Get AS in Oslo. I hold both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in IT.

Besides Tea I enjoy a good TV-show, computer games, diving, skiing, hunting, hiking in the mountain and brewing an occasional beer.
